week 3 project research

After a brief research online I found out that actually there are several places an out door wedding can be held, such as:

-Muir woods
-Hawk hill
-Battery Mendell
-Point Bonita Light house
-Muir Beach Overlook
-Muir Beach
-Battery Rathbone/Mcindoe
-Fort Barry Parade Ground
-Rodeo Beach
-Stinson Beach
-Eagle's Point
-China Beach
-Black Point Battery
-West Fort Miley
-Sutro Heights Park
-Fort Mason Parade Gounds
-Baker Beach
-Ocean Beach
-Crissy Field
-Fort Mason/Great Meadow

There are actually a lot of selections, but there are restrictions to the sites. Many of the sites don't have much parking spaces, and noise or music are prohibited due to preserving a peaceful environment for other visitors. Artificial materials or balloons, doves or throwing rices is not allow in the park. In order to preserve the parks in their natural state, some of the special decorations require further review. Therefore, I think one of my concept could be a green wedding that promoting the idea of having a wedding with less materialistic things and more concern utilize the things around us and make the wedding graceful and fulfilling.

One of my concern was that there wasn't a lot of pictures that I can use from, and the lists of sites are too long, some of them might not be an ideal site for weddings. I wish the contact person would give me some informations about the statistic such as which sites are more popular than others and how many weddings are held each year.
